Work Party 2008 / House Corp Annual Meeting |

June 24, 2008 Brothers:
The third annual Work Party is fast approaching this August. Festivities will commence on Friday, August 15th with golf and dinner. Work on the chapter house will begin first thing Saturday morning the 16th and continue through end of day Monday, August 18th. Saturday night there will be a formal, ritualistic House Meeting and the House Corporation annual meeting will occur at that time. There are currently 3 positions available for election on the House Corporation board and elections will be held during the annual meeting.
The past two Work Parties have been a tremendous success with around 30 or so alumni present for each. Through sweat, blood, and tears (well, at least a lot of sweat anyway), we have accomplished a number of projects and had a great deal of fun. If you haven't had the opportunity to make it to a Work Party yet then I hope you can make it this year and see what all the buzz has been about. If you have made it in the past then you already know how invigorating these weekends can be and I hope to see you again.
The House Corporation is currently in the process of finalizing the plans for the work party this year. I will send out more information regarding projects planned and a request for donations shortly.
